Among the things you may have on your wishlist when you’re starting #vanlife, many of those items must be functional, not just fun. Sure, you want the crazy cool gadgets, but you need to purchase devices for when things go wrong as well. One of these items should be this Jump Starter.
It’s inevitable. At some point while you’re enjoying #vanlife, you’re going to leave your lights on (or keep something plugged into a live socket connected to your starter battery). The next day, you’re going to be confronted with a dead battery – and you don’t really want to wait around for somebody to jump your van, do you?
That’s where this NOCO Boost Plus comes in. Simply connect the positive and negative clamps to your battery, turn it on, and crank your engine. Most of the time, that will be enough. If your engine doesn’t even crank over, simply press the button on the Jump Starter, and let it charge up your battery for a few minutes. Then start your van.
Need to charge the NOCO Boost Plus? That’s easy too. Simply plug the included cord into a USB socket, and it’ll start charging up immediately. You’ll need this more if you need to charge up your battery before you can start it, as that takes a lot more power than just jump starting the van. Either way, you’ll be sure to have a fully-charged Jump Starter whenever you need it – and you will.
Sure, this thing is a bit pricey at $100, but it will save you so much time and trouble – not to mention bring you a lot of piece of mind when your van (i.e. your home) won’t start.
